Fleur de Wee
Fleur de Wee is the first font ever by Christian Ghirardi, a sign designer in Columbus, Ohio. "I enjoy the focus on typography that the sign industry demands. This font was created as a personal weapon for cranking out dingbats for neighborhood signs," Christian says. "I did some pretty extensive reconnaissance work to muster up all of the forms I used. For the most part, they are legitimate historical forms found on family crests and objects of royalty."
There are endless contemporary applications for this collection of French icons. We suggest you use it while enjoying Nicolas Feuillatte Brut Premier Cru Champagne and a creamy, ripe Camembert cheese. "In lieu of the current underlying French-American conflict, let the healing begin," adds Christian.
